Day two of the workshop was held at Zinkwazi, Ocean Reef. The workshop today was more on service delivery issues that are affecting community. His worship the mayor of iLembe ,Cllr Thobani Shandu presented the challenges & solutions faced by the Municipality in rendering service delivery.

Some of the challenges the mayor alluded on;

• Financial Health of the municipality, particularly the revenue collection rate,
• Ageing Infrastructure that cause service disruption through breakdowns,
• Slow progress on projects which is caused by disruptions by local businesses interest,
• Need for improvement of the internal property Management, hygiene as well as health & safety,
• The urgency & strong commitment to improve the Corporate Culture for both employees & Councilors
